Plaztuff businesses have been established to create a new and vibrant commercial entity, built around the work that Peter Barrow has done in developing a range of products using sheet plastic, plastic fabrication techniques and extrusion welding technology.
Peter has been involved for 20 years in the plastics industry, through businesses centered on both repair and fabrication of plastics, where he has established a fine reputation as a entrepeneur and product developer.
The first business, Air and Automotive Plastics was based at Ardmore airfield, but following a shift to Papakura and bigger premises the business became known as Enviroplas Industries concentrating on the repair of plastics.
Plazweld was then formed and set up in Takanini to progress the fabrication side which Peter had developed using his own welding techniques, however with a partnership breakup, the business lapsed and PE Consulting was formed to provide an outlet for Peter's talents, focusing on Plastic Fabrication
Using the protocols, proprietary design and the new polymer sheet Plaztuff has now been developed as a business model setup to build a range of products using Plaztuff™ Hyspec™ polymer sheet
One of the best examples of this is Polynesian Spa in Rotorua where this material was used to build their new pools. The geothermal activity and its corrosive effects on many materials commonly used precluded their use in the particular application.
The pools which were the biggest construction of their type, created even more interest and then Peter built his first tanker, from which a whole new range of products for storing and carrying liquids have been developed.
Peter has continued his development work under the Plaztuff™ brand and now through the Plaztuff business model is able to meet your requirement throughout New Zealand.
